Commit to Memory: “Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished.”(Proverbs 16:5 ESV).

Beloved, God’s grace is channelled and extended to those who are humble before him. So don’t allow the sin of pride to bring a compromise between you and Jesus. Satan, king Nebuchadnezzar and Herod were dethroned when pride began to rule and reign in their lives. Are you having results in all your hands find doing? Watch it before pride sets in. It is for this reason the Bible says let him that thinks he is standing be careful, in other words watch it else you fall. It is as serious as that. What is it that is making us arrogant and beyond the control of mentors and fathers. All of a sudden, we don’t give thanks to the Lord, our true source of strength. He is the one who gave us these abilities and opportunities, and all is for the purpose of growing his kingdom. See what Galatians 6:3 ESV says

“For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.”

Who can help a man that God resist? No not one. So learn to honour God and all men no matter your status and age, understand that your life and rising is at the grace and mercy of God and not by your works, intelligence or skills. Never be tired of serving others as God orchestrates and creates opportunities for your lifting and watch God’s hand of lifting become unstoppable in your life in Jesus name.

Reflection: If God does not stand for, before, with and by you; there is nothing you can do against the devil.

•Father break every pride and robe me with the garment of humility.

•Father, in the name of Jesus the sin of  pride will not bring a compromise between me and Jesus.
