Commit to Memory: “Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.” (Psalms 68:1 KJV)

Let God Arise was a prayer of David. It was a cry for help, a heart desire calling for God to take over the battles fighting his joy and total wellbeing. Beloved, are you so weighed down such that it’s as if your hope has just been shattered, it’s as if now and for the rest of your life you have been at a designated spot, as the Lord lives; the Lord of Host Himself will arise on your behalf and give you victory without a fight.

Until God arises for you- you are likely to continue struggling, until God arises for you- the evil pattern of poverty, delay and rejection will continue, until God arises for you- helpers may never come near you nor compelled to feed your flocks, until God arises for you- you might not fulfil all those great dreams and aspirations, until God arises on your behalf- you will continue to suffer loss and record tragedies, like David until God arises for you- the strongmen like the bear, lion and even Goliath may keep on terrorizing and bring mockery in your life. It is for this reason the word of God says in Isaiah 28:21 NLT that:

“The Lord will come as he did against the Philistines at Mount Perazim and against the Amorites at Gibeon. He will come to do a strange thing; he will come to do an unusual deed:”

Thanks be to God who has brought victory your way today and as the Lord lives, the Lord will do his strange works and acts in, with and through your life in Jesus name.

Reflection: Until the Lord of Host arises for you, unseen battles continue.
