Commit to memory: “And that, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we believed.”  (Romans 13:11).

The tragedy of life isn’t that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin one. That is why every Believer  must work out his or her salvation with fear and trembling (Philip.2:12).We must cast off the works of darkness if we need reawakening.

Nothing happens in the physical realm without it being programmed in the spiritual realm, this is because life and everything we see or know about life is entirely spiritual. See what Isaiah 52:1 says

Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

Has daily devotion, spiritual songs, melodious worship, soul lifting renditions, hymns, messages, word meditation, fastings and night prayers especially now become occasional to you? What it means is that little by little you are going deep down spiritually to sleeping and slumbering. This is because the activities of darkness are craftily orchestrated at night to manifest in the day and for this reason- the urgency and need for spiritual reawakening is pertinent in the life of the new covenant Believer.

Wake up from being a pestilent fellow, wake up from prayerlessness, wake up from gluttony, wake up from sleeping all night long, wake up from the traditions of men, wake up from religion, wake up from idleness, wake up from laziness, wake up from laziness to meditate, wake up from every slothfulness, wake up from rising and falling spiritually, wake up from spiritual blindness and deafness. Are you spiritually asleep? It is possible for a Believer to fall asleep spiritually (Jdg.16:15-19). Delilah made Samson to sleep on her laps- what a tragedy! For a user of this inspiration, that sleep that will make you to lose the presence of God, may you never sleep it in Jesus name.

Reflection: When you lose the battle of the night, you lose all battles.
