Let lies be lacking – Part 2

Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. Psalm 34:13 (NIV)

No man is desolate until he is forsaken by God. Is your relationship built on deceit? Have you taught your tongue to lie one to another as couples? (Jeremiah 9:5). Avoid talking too much, stop the exaggerations for in the multitude of words lies are not farfetched. Sins of the tongue are numerous and capable of causing you a broken home, marriage or relationship. (Psalm 5:9, 12:3, 15:3, 50:19. etc).

Friends, a great injustice you can do to your spouse is to make him/her believe your lies for truth. Any courtship or marriage you build on the platform of lies eventually will crumble, so build it on truth today. Have you been tagged a liar by your spouse that nothing you say is believed as truth, repent and embrace Jesus for the truth is in Jesus and I tell you, you’ll discover lies is now a thing of the past in your life. Build your relationship on truth and God’s word. Let lies be lacking, God detests liars and says their portion is the lake of fire. He hates a lying tongue and his first institution he established on earth cannot also thrive on lies. If you want to win your partner’s heart, become a sincere and truthful person.

God has a reputation of not telling lies, He said he has sworn that he will not lie to David. (Psalm 89:35). Are you a God’s leading lady? Are you a king in God’s sight? Then, build that reputation of truth in your marriage, your children wil grow up naturally to cultivate this culture and lifestyle. Do not allow lies to stop you and make you lose your spouse’s love and trust. Speak to your spouse in the fear of God, learn to be truthful to each other, many are in marriage telling lies to each other. Avoid lies by all means, keep your relationship with God and your spouse in truth for by truth kings reign.
