Commit to Memory: “We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4 ESV).
The Lord Jesus Christ died upon the cross for the sins of the world. They took His body down and buried it in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea. For three days and three nights He was there but on the third day, He arose. If Christ did not come out of that grave, I tell you there’s no way to come out of any grave experience you and I may find ourselves. Jesus won the greatest victory over the grave. He died, he was buried, but He arose from the grave. And because he rose, he sustains the power to bring back to life whatever is dead in our lives. I pray may your destiny, come out of the graves in Jesus name.
If Jesus had remained in the grave, then you and I don’t have any hope. However, since Christ came out of that grave, then we are victorious! So we see that on the third day, four things happened to Jesus. Firstly, He arose from the place of loneliness and joined the Apostles. I pray may you be lifted from the place you use to be. Secondly, He left where men called his final resting place and moved unto the heavenly place (Acts1:11). I pray may the Lord alter your position for an upward and forward movement. Thirdly, he left where he had been forgotten by men but remembered by God. As the Lord lives, every place and every where men has kept, left or forgotten you; may heaven remember you for lifting. And then, Jesus left the company of the hopeless and helpless to the place He will never die. For a user of this inspiration, in every situation of loneliness, hopelessness and helplessness surrounding your life- you are coming out victorious in Jesus name.
Friends, the Lord will have me tell you today that Good news shall come out from the graveyard situations surrounding you. Perhaps you are wondering that the grave is a strange place for good news to proceed. Listen, there’s good news for you from the graveyard today: Good news that you will exceed every height of success the enemy has thus hindered you. Good news that Jesus rose from the dead and because he arose whatsoever is dead in your life shall resurrect. Good news that the devil can no longer hold you in captivity because he couldn’t hold Jesus. Good news that death has lost its sting over your life and family. Good news that the grave has lost its grip and hiterto victory over you. The Good news is that we need not fear death anymore for as He is so are we in this world. Hallelujah.
Reflection: In Christ alone, is our hope and resurrection…
Prayer Lines: Graves in my family and household be exhumed by fire in the name of Jesus.
