Commit to Memory: “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” (John 14:14 KJV)
One of the things that differentiate the Almighty God from man is that what he says he will do and what he does he will says. This is because He is before all things and the creator of all tangible and intangible things. He can command to bring to pass, he can demand result to bring to pass his will and fulfil his purpose. He does all of these to show that there none before, beside, after and above Him. It is for this reason He is called the Powerful One, the Almighty that is clothed in majesty.
In today’s commit to memory, the Lord Jesus Christ said and again He’s saying to you this morning that amidst the worrisome circumstance and perils you are currently facing “I WILL DO IT” It is for this reason he said in John 16:33 KJV
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Jesus said Iif you ask, that means we are not asking, if we close our mouth we cannot receive. Stop trusting man and turn to God. It’s for this reason He said in Psalms 2:8 “Ask of me… and I will give…” Why? You don’t receive if you don’t ask and then he said “Anything”. Jesus said that if we ask our earthly father for bread he will not give stone, so notwithstanding the frailty of man been evil but he is able to give what we desire, so then how much more will He who reserves the right to be called the Almighty God not provide our needs. Why? There is nothing, I mean there is absolutely anything too hard for him to do or fix in your life. No limitation, no boundary, no barrier but anything, it doesn’t matter however big. Solomon asked God for wisdom and knowledge and the Bible says God gave him and much more (2 Chron. 1:10). I pray whatever is your heart felt expectation as you pray, believe that The Father of all flesh and spirits will grant you your desires that are in line with his will in Jesus name.
Reflection: That God can see beyond any darkness and reach beyond any limitation gives Him the ability and capacity to get you sorted and settled.
