Commit to Memory: “And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.” (Matthew 25:15 KJV).

The Bible made us to understand that there are different kinds of gifts given to man by God especially the body of Christ. He said to some he gave the gift of prophecy, some, the gift of healing, some, the gift the working of Miracles, some the gift of tongues, some, the gift of discernment, some the word of wisdom, word of knowledge etc. But for whatever gift you’re given it is for your profit and relevance. It says it is for the profiting of the saints and for the work of the ministry. This means that as far as God is concerned, whatever gift he has given you, he expects you to profit with it (1 Corinth.12:4-10).

Friends, if you are not manifesting your gifts in the solving of problems such that it doesn’t profit the kingdom, it is as good as that gift wasn’t given. What are you doing with your gift? Any gift that is not put into use decays, God has given you that gift not to hide it like the unfaithful and wicked servant but to bless mankind with it and to make profit from it. The gift that you don’t put into practice cannot announce you, the gift that you hide cannot bring you before great men, and your gift can only connect you to great men when you showcase it. 

So friends, don’t use your gift anyhow, place value on the gift God has given you, also don’t talk down the gift in the life of others especially the men of God around you, value it that it may work for you. So we see as relayed in today’s commit to memory that God has given every one at least a gift based on our several abilities, not according to our prayer points and the truth is that He will return some day to ask and find out what we did with the diverse gifts he has given us. Let your gift count for the kingdom today by maximizing it.
