The Voice of Mercy- Part 2

Commit to Memory: “Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.” (Matthew 5:7).

The wealth of God is quantified in mercy and anytime God sees a man who is moved by compassion, his heart is moved to supply his mercy afresh to such a fellow. God is merciful to the righteous but angry with the sinner every day. See what the Bible says in Lamentations 3:22-23. NLT

“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.”

Friends, God wants you to consider the poor especially those of the household of faith who are daily pleading and crying to Him for mercy and the truth is that in the very heart of God his plan is that he has placed you in your location to be a saviour of those that desire His help. It’s for this reason the Lord has blessed and enabled you financially and otherwise. So be the Jesus men desire to supply their needs in any capacity you can as the Lord privilege you. Help that widow, orphan and less privileged who are pleading for your mercy in same similitude like poor Lazarus who desired care and would without choice feed on crumbs. Help the helpless so that you too can see the mercy of God at work in your life.

To help the helpless involves much more commitment than simply giving money, it requires your time and you showing acts of kindness in cash and kind. There must be personal involvement and the truth is that Mercy will be repaid with more abundant mercy in your day of trouble by the Lord if you are merciful to others. Start with those in the household of faith and extend it to others. Start this practice today and let love guide your decisions.

Reflection: The greatest of men run into days of trouble, but will rise again if they had lifted others.

Prayer Lines:  Father, I have decided to be merciful to those you lead me to, show me an avalanche of your mercy.
