The Voice of Mercy

Commit to Memory: “O satisfy us early with thy mercy that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.” (Psalm 90:4).

Mercy is the uncompromising voice that sets a man on the pedestal of greatness. When every human effort has failed, mercy speaks. That is why it’s very instructive that you ask the Lord to speak his mercy over every messy situation in and surrounding your life this morning. Why? The year is young and if the Lord will satisfy you with an avalanche of his mercy, you will spend this New Year soaring in joy and gladness and I tell you sorrow and pain will become foreign to your experience all through the year. Hallelujah.

Beloved, until mercy speaks, the struggle continues. Mercy speaks for the unqualified and for the one that seems far from help. It is when you are weak that you need the strength of the Lord. I pray in every area of your life weakness is manifesting, may the Lord speak mercy to strengthen you in Jesus name.

A lot of Christians are wondering why things are not working according to their expectations despite their tireless efforts and earnest prayers. They may continue that way and become an evil pattern until God shows mercy.  This explains why the Psalmist prayed a prayer in Psalms 6:2a. He said:

“Have mercy upon me oh Lord for I am weak”

Can this be your prayer this morning? Do you know that there is a kind of victory and progress that comes upon the life of a man when the Lord decides to speak mercy over such a life? I pray for a user of this inspiration, the kind of mercy that will make you overflow in supernatural accomplishments, today the Lord will speak mercy upon you and yours in Jesus name.

Reflection: When God wants to turn the mess of your past into a message to talk about in your present and future, he does it by the voice of MERCY.
