Commit to Memory: “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” (Romans 8:11 KJV)

Beloved, no matter your helplessness and hopelessness, if you will give up the ownership of your life to the Holy Spirit He will give you strength over your weaknesses. This is because your destiny is dependent on the measure of God’s Spirit at work in your life.

Every time you struggle to get things, it’s a sign the Spirit component is missing. This explains why the Bible says that immediately the spirit of God came upon Samson, with the jaw bone of an ass, he killed a thousand philistines (Judges 15:16). Think about that for a minute. This means God puts his Spirit in us to achieve tasks that supports his interest in our lives and I pray every assignment that you must perform on time and well, the Lord shall release his Spirit for performance, excellence and timeliness in Jesus name. No wonder the Bible says Jesus had the indwelling of the Holy Spirit without measure, such that all he did in the space of three and a half years is yet to be accomplished by any man. He just kept on increasing in greatness (John 21:25). Why? There was a Spirit at work in Him- The Spirit of God, no wonder all men sought for Him.

Jesus said the flesh profits nothing, it is the Spirit that quickens us to do strange acts and works for the Lord, it is the Spirit that bears witness with our spirit that we the children of God, it is the Spirit that ministers to us. It is for this reason the Bible says that he that have not the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Christ. Friends, have you receive the Holy Spirit? Do you have the Spirit of Christ at work in you? This is very important as it is the Holy Spirit that will guide us to all truths and even the deep things of God, it is the Spirit that bears witness with our spirit to attest we are God’s people, it is the Spirit that comforts the believer in perilous times like these.
