Get Rid of Fear- Part 2

Commit to Memory: “But now, this is what the Lord says, Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1).

Beloved, once you confess and forsake your sins and you make Jesus Lord and Saviour over your life, you should have nothing again to fear. Fear of what tomorrow will be or bring, fear of the unknown, fear of poverty, fear of ill-health, fear of death, fear of the wrong association, fear of the wrong business, fear of who to marry, fear of the devil etc. Friends, there is nothing again to fear if you will make up your mind and surrender to Jesus as the year comes to an end. This explains why David said in Psalm 23:4 that

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

What was it that boosted David’s confidence; He had seen God appeared as a refuge in the storm in several and diverse ways on his exodus to the throne as king. That is why you must begin to build your confidence in the finished work of Christ at cavalry tree. I like the way the New Living Translation puts Numbers 23:23. It says: No curse can touch Jacob; no magic has any power against Israel…” Why? Once you become born again, you become preferred among the revered, too defended to be a victim, you become marvellously helped such that struggling will be alien to your experience. How can a lion fear when the lion is the king of the jungle that turns not away or is frightened by any foe? Never ever. Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah and as He is so are we in this world, not when we get to heaven. So  you are a lion, start to work in the consciousness of this revelation toady and I tell you no weapon formed against you will prosper as you shall become a terror to the kingdom of darkness. Hallelujah.

Reflection: When the revelation of what Jesus did at Calvary becomes flesh in your life, fear is vanquished.

Prayer Lines: I decree because my life is hidden in Christ, in God, I fear no evil.
