Commit to Memory: “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love and a sound mind.”  (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV).

One of the most potent weapon the enemy uses against believers is fear. Fear is so terrible that if nurtured, it can befall and stop the greatness of a man. Of all the spirits given by God to the new covenant believer, the Bible says God has not given us the spirit of fear. This means that all spirits are given and received. So which way have you allowed fear to creep into your life?

Beloved, if fear is at work in your life, it means it is not from God, it does not hail from God and therefore follows that somehow you received it somewhere but definitely not from God. Whether you are aware of it or not, anything given have to be received. So here is the big question this morning. Where did you receive the spirit of fear presently tormenting your life? How come every little thing make you scared? How come every now and then you have to invite people to sleep in the same room with you before you can sleep as all of a sudden you cannot sleep alone. See what the Almighty God said in Isaiah 35:4

“Tell everyone who is discouraged, Be strong and don’t be afraid! God is coming to your rescue…”

There will definitely be giants and challenges on your path to greatness; you must be and stay  courageous enough to withstand all you see. Fear is a spirit and a demon. When you allow fear to have a hold of you, it will take over your faculties and you will begin to react negatively to any and everything around you. So if God has not given us the spirit of fear, how come fear is captivating you? How come any little thing makes you panic and troubled? If this captures your experience may the Lord deliver you today.

Reflection: Every result and dimension operated by man has a spirit component that must be received before you can manifest.
