Commit to Memory: “Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them.” (Matthew 21:2–3, NIV)

The antidote for delay is breakthroughs and to come out of delay, you sure need divine help. It is for this reason the Almighty God promised in Jeremiah 40:4 NLT

 “But I am going to take off your chains and let you go…”

That man said to Jesus “I have no man”. For a regular user of this inspiration I pray that the Lord will orchestrate your breakthroughs today such that you will remember no more your seasons of delays.

Beloved, does your life portray the donkey in today’s commit to memory story line? Are you living in chains and shackles? Are you living in bondage? Are you born great but tied down by the enemy? Are there ropes and invisible chains holding you back and keeping you from knowing which direction to take? Are there ropes that keep you stuck? Have you accepted the lie, agreed with the argument, that life is over and there is nothing left or better? Have you given up on God? Do you hear the whisper, “I’m too old, too much time has been lost”? Do you wonder where to start? Do thoughts of starting over overwhelm you? Do you feel your wasted years can never be restored?

Friends, don’t give up on God because He never will give up on you. It is for this reason Jesus sent for the release and freedom of the donkey as that same donkey carried the King of Glory on a red carpet as the people, onlookers, mockers, every evil monitoring spirit and as many that have given up on the donkey for the years of delay all of a sudden began to shout and sing Hosanna in the Highest as the donkey walked in style and royalty into Galilee. I pray this morning God will push your destiny forward and catapult you such that those that knew you before will never be able to comprehend how far and great the Lord will lift you and keep lifting you.

Just say this with me this morning:

“My delays are not denials

The greater One lives in me

All things are working together for my good

Jesus knows my every care

His help is on my way

God is watching over my life’s deals

I am breaking through and breaking forth on all sides

My case shall not suffer delay”.
