Delays are not Denials- Part 2

Commit to Memory: “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;” (2 Corinthians 4:17 KJV)

In Job 42:10, the Bible says God turned again the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. This means that his downtimes were for a season. Why? Our light affliction is but for a moment, I mean our delays are temporal. It is for this reason Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:18 KJV

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

As far as you can count the years of delay, please understand it has an expiry date. Why? There is a time for everything and there are several delays that must happen to every man before your destiny can manifest gloriously.

Beloved, can you imagine what would have been going on in the mind of Joseph when having rightfully interpreted the dreams of the chief cup bearer who completely forgot to announce him to Pharaoh (Gen.40:23). But you know what, the time as far as God was concerned was not yet ripe, but when the time of his favour was ripe God remembered him. How? The same chief cup bearer announced his gift of dreams and interpretation to Pharaoh and right away, the Bible says Pharaoh sent for him and they brought him out of his dungeon. (Gen.41:9, 14). As the Lord lives, this morning the Lord will bring you out of every dungeon of delay in the name of Jesus.

Reflection: Sometimes when you are delayed where you are, know that God sees and knows there is a ranging storm where you are headed or perhaps the testimony ahead is very great. His tactical approach to avert your danger or increase you is delay.

Prayer Lines

•In the name of Jesus, no more satanic delays in my life.
