Commit to Memory: “Jesus replied, “Let the faith of God be in you!” (Mark 11:22 TPT)
There is a kind of faith that knows no defeat, confesses the mind of Christ, believes all things, ventures and dares the impossible, walks in the miraculous, operates in the supernatural, raises the dead and calls forth things that be not as though they were. It has no iota of fear or doubt but full of God’s life and power speaking whatever it desires to see and manifest.
The God kind of faith is God’s word spoken by the lips of faith by a Believer who only confesses whatever he desires and accepts the promises of God as captured in the pages of scriptures. Greek bible scholars tells us that the correct translation of Mark 11:22 reads “Have the God kind of Faith”.Hmmm, this is demonstrated in verse verses 23-25 of Mark 11. The Amplified Classic Edition puts it this way. It says:
“Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]. And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.”
Here we see Jesus teaching the basic elements of the God kind of faith and how it operates and how to set it in motion at work in our lives even as believers. The God kind of faith is a speaking spirit of the mind and will of God. It’s always speaking the word of God in every situation be it good or bad. It releases the God kind of life, nature and faith through speakings. This is typified and seen during creation. Repeatedly in Genesis 1, you will see time and again God speaking his will into existence. Gen.1:3 says “And God said let there be light and there was light”. Verses 6,7,9,14 and 15 of Genesis chapter one says something similar. It says “…and God said let this be… let that be… and it was so…” So we see that whatever and immediately God spoke, the world began. May his words find expression of the God kind of faith in your mouth and life in Jesus name.
