Commit to Memory: “You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” (Psalm 32:7)

Beloved, there is greater testimony in the spiritual mapping and work you do for yourself than what you contract to others. As you cry out to God in prayers today, may he turn your story to glory. How does this concern you? What makes you feel you will need foundational deliverance?

Among many other things, if you were born or raised in and from a polygamous home, if you have incisions, tribal fetish marks on any part of your body, if you have been experiencing all manner of attacks (spiritual and otherwise) and strange problems, if you came from an idol worshipping family etc then you need foundational deliverance.

You need the ancient gates to be opened and the palace of wickedness, I mean the association and manipulation of darkness, you need it to be dissolved so that you can experience breakthroughs unlimited. This is because all problems that trouble mankind are first rooted in the spiritual realm and the truth is that if they are first attended to spiritually, then the battles will be half solved and over.

It is for this reason that before God could use Gideon- I mean before Gideon could become a mighty man of valour; he had to destroy the altars of Baal of his father’s house- that was foundational deliverance (Judg.6:24-28). In the genealogy of Sarah, there was barrenness. Sarah was barren (Gen.11:30), Rebecca was barren (Gen 25:21) and Rachel was barren (Gen. 29:31). So there was an evil pattern of barrenness in their bloodline and foundation.

All these people took it for granted and so the peril remained. The Bible says God listened to Rachael when she cried for a child because she was barren and God opened her womb (Gen.30:22 MSG), in same similitude Isaac cried unto God for Rebecca and she became a joyful mother. So we see that Sarah took for granted her barrenness and even laughed in unbelief- Abraham had to do the prayer work and walk. Rebecca did the same like Sarah and Isaac had to do the prayer work and walk. But for Rachael she made up her mind and cried to God for her foundational deliverance of barrenness and God harkened unto her. No wonder her testimony was a double portion in Joseph. As the Lord lives may he deliver you from your strong enemies today.

Reflection: What you permit persists and permeates in your life, what you address- you stop… Stop them before they stop you.
