Commit to Memory: “And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” (2 kings 18:46 KJV)
We serve a God who can suspend natural laws for our benefits; He takes pleasure in lifting men. He does this to show that He is the Beginning and the end and everything in between; that He’s able to give speed to His own to be able to catch up with the fulfilment of their lives and surpass the expectations of the enemy and critics.
Divine speed talks about the mighty hand of God helping you to achieve what takes men years or a lifetime to accomplish.
Beloved, when the Almighty God gives you divine speed, you begin to experience great results with little efforts. Infact, when God gives you speed, labour is irrelevant!
The storyline of our commit to memory says that Elijah experienced divine speed. He encouraged King Ahab to eat and drink after a long time of drought, then called on God for rain and the Lord answered. Elijah quickly requested King Ahab to go down with his chariot before the rain stopped him. Now King Ahab rode away on a horse and went to Jezreel but the Bible says the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah and he girded up his loins and outran the chariots of Ahab. In other words, the Almighty God gave him speed such that he arrived his destination on bare foot as against king Ahab who was on a chariot (1King 18:41-46). May heaven give you speed today.
Reflection: When God shows up in your case, you become a film show before men.
Pray lines: Father, let your hand be upon me to achieve what it takes others years and a lifetime to achieve.
