Commit to Memory:  “For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.”  (Isaiah 28:21)

God is never slack concerning his promises as any promise made by Him to His children either reveals His perfect will, direction or involves you taking the promise by force using the armour of prayer. Many have been robbed of every valuable promise and blessing in the past because they thought if God had promised them anything, it will automatically be fulfilled whether they do something about it or not but this is a deception of the enemy.

We serve a God who is too faithful to fail. Why? He honours His word above His name. How? When he speaks- it is done and because He alone is All powerful, sovereign, All sufficient and All knowing He is able to bring to pass the fulfilment of whatever promise he has spoken about Jacob (you). He is able to say what he can do and also do whatever He says. He is forever faithful to His promises. Little wonder the Almighty God said in Psalm 89:34-37

My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David. His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me. It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.”

The Almighty God ensured that he fulfilled all he spoke and promised David, for there will not cease a man to sit on his throne and as the Lord lives, He ensured that despite all the atrocities and sins of David- He still had a seed to sit on his throne. In other words He ensured, supervised and marvellously helped David until he became strong and matured to rule and reign over all Israel. He proved that He was the God of fulfilment bringing to pass all he had spoken to David.

Paul said I planted, Apollos watered but the Lord gave the increase. In other words, whatever you do, no matter your inputs, only God can bring to pass your expectations, it has to be God that can bring and sustain humbling results. He alone can bring fulfilment. So stay on course for He’s working behind the scene of your life and when He is through, He’ll make you what He wants you to be. Hallelujah.

Reflection: You will move from struggle to grace, when the Lord brings to pass all that bothers and concerns you and when it’s the Lord- you’ll have success with fulfillment.

Prayer Lines: O God Arise in your power and might and bring to fulfillment strange works and strange acts alien to men in my life and family.
