No more Limitations- Part 2

Commit to Memory: “And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?”  (Genesis 3:9 KJV)

In today’s world, everyone has been endowed with a rich blend of of abilities, capabilities and numerous opportunities unique to each individual. No mixture is vanity, but because the enemy knows that his time is short-he is all out to kill, steal and destroy and in the overall limit the breakthroughs and liftings especially of God’s children (John 10:10).

A limitation is an obstacle, a restriction or an impediment placed on the progress of a man or woman. It is an obstruction that negates the fulfilment of destiny. There are different sources of limitations that could hinder Believers. A limitation could be an individual like Herod who was a limitation to Jesus’ star at birth or Pharaoh who was a limitation to the Israelites in Egypt. It could also be triggered by the enemy- Jesus said the enemy has done this, it could be caused by a sickness as seen in the life of Naaman.

In our commit to memory today, after Adam and Eve had eaten the forbidden fruit the Lord commanded them to refrain from limitation stepped into their lives.. In verse 9 of Genesis 3, the Lord asked Adam “Where are You”. He is still asking that question of each one of us today. Where are you in regard to God’s plan and purpose for your life, your talents, your gifts, your skills, your affluence and your influence. In other words, God saw that Adam has been limited as he- Adam had just placed a limitation on his power, authority and dominion over satan as he died spiritually and became separated from God- He became limited such that the animals he once named were now a treat to his existence. He became limited over the things he once had power and dominion over.

There is a breakthrough that has your name written on it, in the name of Jesus it will not be limited but unlimited.

Reflection: Until the limitation of sin we bring upon ourselves is gotten rid of, we may not see liftings of any kind.
