Commit to Memory: “And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.”  Jeremiah 30:19 KJV

Thanksgiving is very important to God for it births multiplication, increase and an avalanche of heaven’s supply so it’s God’s desire that out of the cities, the temples, your homes and all dwelling places of Jacob and his descendants which you are part of; the Lord says he demands Thanksgiving. Why? So that your little shall become many, your few shall become much, your small shall become big. So we see that when God wants to lift a man, he will try him with little things and if that man appreciates Him for the little, he adds more until it becomes much and then great. It’s called the Law of Gratitude. 1 Thessalonians 5:18  says:

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Friends, any time you offer a voice of thanksgiving to God, what you are actually doing is that you are calling forth His Blessings. For example, when you begin to thank God for the provision by privilege of your single child and only daughter by saying Father, I thank you for the precious gift you have wrapped as a daughter to me. I thank you because children are a heritage of the Lord (Psa.127:3). Don’t start complaining that “God must I die like this without a male child? Look at my neighbour that is not even a Believer and just five years into marriage, yet she has five children (triplet boys and twin girls), here I am only with a daughter and then you begin to compare yourself and marriage with others when actually what God has in store for you eyes have not seen, nor ears heard nor the hearts of men conceived the amazing children that will permit your overflow. But God is right there waiting and anticipating your fruitfulness in this wise when you decide to thank Him for the one daughter He has gifted you.

Again and again, whatever testimony you desire would be birthed in your life if and only if you give thanks. And so the Big Question: Thank you Jesus- Have you said it today?

Reflection: It is in your thanksgiving your multiplication soars. Stop the worries, murmuring and complaint.
