Commit to memory: “Arise, O Lord, in anger! Stand up against the fury of my enemies! Wake up, my God, and bring justice!” Psalms 7:6 NLT

Life presents us with all manner of battles that bring shame and pain but the decree of Jesus stands supreme; that every plant the Almighty God has not planted shall be uprooted in our lives and this is so when we allow God to fight for us. In Psalms 35:1-3 David said:

“Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.”

I pray this shall be your lot in Jesus name. Friends, amidst all the battles surrounding your life, take it to the Lord in prayer. The hymn writer with this revelation wrote: “Take your problems to the Lord and leave it there…” Not to the occult, witch doctors, diviners, sorcerers, evil altars or man that’s too feeble, frail and disappointing to help but to the Lord. Little wonder, David said to Goliath “you come against me with a sword, spear and shield: but I come to thee (with the invisible armour)- in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” (1 Sam.17:45 emphasis mine).

You want to be victorious without a fight, proclaim a fast today, address every problem on your knees so you can stand tall over them, also be in right standing with God and you will see God visit your battles with judgement.

Reflection: Until you rely on God consistently and trust Him wholeheartedly, the Lord may not take over your battles.
