Leave the Crowd-part 2

Commit to Memory:  “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.” Proverbs 13:20-21 NIV

Friends, leave the crowd, quit the multitude and do it quickly; walk with the noble, identify those with compass and follow them to rise above the storms early enough; little wonder the prodigal son left the crowd. He decided to make that one decision that restored his exodus away from lack and loneliness back to plenty and solace. He let go of his pride among swine to return to his Father.

Zacchaeus, decided not to be lost in the crowd, he put the obstructions of men stopping him from reaching out to Christ by climbing a fig tree- what a decision that attracted Christ to him and later to his home as Christ never passed that path again (Luke 19:1-9).

What is it that has crowded your life that a good life in godliness now seems impossible to you- the Lord is saying to you LEAVE THE CROWD, be like Zacchaeus, you are a minute to that one decision that could turn your life around, take a moment and climb, come up for there is room for you, come up hither above all that is crowding your vision from the All Seeing One who alone is the Lifter of men.

In Acts 3:1-10, the Bible speaks of a lame man at a gate called beautiful but there was nothing beautiful about his life. Before this time, this man had never walked, nor walked with those who brought him to the beautiful gate-he just was a liability to them, but after the Lord healed him; he began to walk with those that matter (Peter and John).

Beloved, do you really desire a change? Then in line with our commit to memory today: look out for people who have what you are looking for and follow wisely, you might need to change your circle of friends. Do you aspire for great things? Then befriend, come under mentorship of the great, mighty but godly, sow in the lives of great, successful and godly people for the less is blessed by the greater. (Hebrews 7:7). This is because greatness is contagious when sacrifice is the bridge. There are people who as a result of life’s limitation you have been unable to associate and socialize with, people in whose company you may just be a liability- they have carried you for years, but this season the Lord will take you to the front row- you shall leave the crowd for the top and greatness.

Reflection: Itemize all the associations and peers that have no value in your life and leave them strategically.

Prayer Lines: Father, I refuse to be a mediocre join me with companies with  great values and visions.
