Stay Strong Help is on the Way

Commit to Memory: “As Pharaoh approached, the people of Israel looked up and panicked when they saw the Egyptians overtaking them. They cried out to the Lord.” (Exodus 14:10 NLT)

Have you ever been in a situation such that any and every thing seems to be working against you? Have you been weighed down such that you are almost giving up? Are you troubled on every-side such that it seems that there is no solution. The word of the Lord to you today is that you stay calm and strong for help is on the way. But why? In moments like this, God wants you to learn to trust Him. He wants you to look to him as Yeshua- the only one that can save and rescue you out of every mess and storm.

Dear friends, stop whining how no one is ready or wants to help you, refrain complaining how no one is listening to you and how everyone has left you to your fate, cease romancing your problems for God is working in the midst of the storm and when He’s through, you surely will be what he wants you to be. He will make a way where there seems to be no way. It is for this reason God speaking through the mouth of Moses in Exodus 14:13-14 assured the Children of Israel to stay strong for Help was on the way. See what it says:

“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

Now the Children of Israel had dwelt in Egypt for 430 years but after the last plague the Lord wrath in Egypt, Pharaoh told Moses and Israel that they should leave in haste. But then as they journeyed out of Egypt, the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh once again so that he could destroy and drown the Egyptians in the red sea. So as Israel left in haste all of a sudden they saw the Egyptians pursuing them and as they drew closer, the Children of Israel cried, murmured and complained to Moses. They said is it not better we remain in Egypt as slaves than die in the wilderness but then they never knew God was working in ways they couldn’t see. As the Lord lives may He make a way for you in the midst of the storm.

In today’s commit to memory as Pharoah and his army drew near, the Bible says the children of Israel were terrified but they cried unto God. Why are you always quick to call on men? Why not look up to God. So we see that in Exodus 14, as the Israelites journeyed out of Egypt they got pegged down at the red sea. At this junction, there was no where to run to again. When they looked back, they saw Pharaoh and his cohorts pursuing them and getting closer, they looked to the left and right they saw confusion, they looked front it was the Red Sea of difficulty but then as Moses looked up to God, all of a sudden God made a way in the midst of the sea for Israel such that the Israelites walked on dry land while Pharaoh and his army were drowned therein the sea. Does this story define your situation? I pray for a user of this inspiration, because in God roadblocks never exist, may He come to your rescue as the rescue in the storm in Jesus name.

Reflection: Who do you look to in the midst of your fears and tears? Is it man or God?

Prayer Lines: Father in the midst of the cross roads I have found myself, make a way for me.
