Commit to Memory: “Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.” (Romans 6:13 KJV)

Life is not about show or things but about hallowed things and having a burden to live for the Lord. The bible says Noah moved with God with fear and trembling, this was what gave him credence in heaven. What kind of instrument are you? What area of disobedience is God demanding you place upon the altar so that He can cause you to maximize your potentials and fulfil your destiny? As you submit, may you enter into your Rehobot.

An instrument in this wise is a vessel that has been chosen for a particular purpose and as portrayed in today’s commit to memory it is either you are an instrument of righteousness or of unrighteousness. In Zechariah 3, Joshua the high priest was almost ridiculed by Satan because as far as satan was concerned he saw him as an instrument of unrighteousness. Why? He was dressed with a filthy garment which in turn the devil was using as a legal ground to bring him down. But then, why would God be silent in situations like this? As a priest, God expects our garments to be white and our head never lacking oil always. Why? So that you and I can enter into the holy of holies to render acceptable sacrifices and service unto the Lord. Thank God for mercy that spoke for Joshua else satan would have ended his life and ministry. I pray that the Lord will make you an instrument of righteousness to bring down his kingdom and presence any and every where you are in Jesus name.

Friends, whenever you think and desire the mercy of God, bear in mind that He is also a Just God in judgement. This should keep you in check never to frustrate his grace and make you to run for your life and run away from sin in all it’s colours and appeals. Why not ask the Lord right there where you are what He would have you do and pray for the grace to keep to every instruction He demands of you. Receive grace to obey in Jesus name.

Reflection: God will not and cannot fill you when you are already full of yourself…
