Waiting on the Lord- Part 2

Commit to Memory: “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31 KJV)

When we are weighed down and worned inside out, we often look to friends and loved ones for encouragement. As comforting this may be, we leave God out of the equation and when the situation becomes critical and worrisome, then we make God the last resort instead of the first resort. No, look to Jesus and live.

Today’s commit to memory says fainting and lack will lose its grip over us when we chose to wait on God. Why? Empowerment is a function of waiting. If you don’t wait, any and everything will and continue to go down but when you wait, the Bible says you will mount up with wings as Eagles. Why? It’s when we wait we will run and not be tired, it’s when we wait, we will not suffer lack, it’s when we wait we will not faint. Its when we wait we move the finger of God in our lives. Waiting is so important for the Believer that want to continue to function like God who sustains the ability of might forever and ever. Don’t just pray, wait on God in fasting.

Friends, if you can’t wait, you can’t win. Why? Only those that wait on the Lord will have their weakness exchanged for Divine strength so master the act of waiting. Why? When we wait, we receive strength for life’s perils and power to do every task. Why? The Almighty endows us with strength at its peak ranging from physical, mental, spiritual, financial and marital strength. Its with this strength that will enable you fulfil all that concerns you in life and destiny. May the Lord release such strength upon you today as you make up your mind to stretch your flesh and empower your spirit man. Glory to God.

Reflection: When you wait on God and trust His timing, be prepared to receive more than what you asked for.

Prayer Lines: Father, help my weakness that I may wait on you now and always.
