Commit to Memory: “And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. (Genesis 1:3 KJV)
Friends, the words that God speaks have unlimited power. He spoke the universe into existence! And guess what? You too can function like God in same capacity because as He is, so are we in this world- not when you get to heaven. For our benefit He has summarized for us a revelation of Himself in the Bible. There is immense power in those words in the Bible. Learn them, believe them, speak them and then you will become what you say. Do you know that every situation you are presently nursing is captured as a case study therein the Bible. And the truth is that when you find what God’s Word says about your situation- speak the word of faith, vocalize it as God did in the Creation as we see in today’s commit to memory. Speak the Word of God to your situation. The words of Jesus in your mouth are still His words. Therefore, they are still “spirit and life” and will perform God’s counsel and purpose of the sent word.
It’s interesting to see that for each of the six days of creation, as recorded in Genesis 1, “God said…” and all of a sudden dramatic creation events occurred. When God said in Genesis 1:3 “Let there be Light, the Bible says there was light. Why? When you speak Faith filled words, you propel God’s spirit to respond and activate your words so that you will have whatsoever you say. Sometimes, it may be against popular opinion and difficult especially when it seems everyone is giving a contrary report. But like the Centurion speak the Word only. How? Find out in the pages of scriptures what God has said and is saying concerning the issue and speak to the situation and I tell you, you will rejoice. What are the words coming out of your mouth today?
This means for you to speak right and speak faith filled words, you must consume and be full of the living word of God. What priority do you give to the word of God? Have you found out what the word of God says concerning the very issues surrounding your life? Infact, you will only have results in the areas you have found light in the word. For example if you have found what the word of God says as touching your debilitating health, you become free in that area only not in other areas like your finances, family or business. So find out what the word says concerning every area of concern in your life and you will gain victory over life’s troubles. Halelluyah.
