Where art thou?

Commit to Memory: “And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?” (Genesis 3:9 KJV)

In today’s commit to memory, the Almighty God asked Adam: Where art thou? and He is still asking the question of each of us today. Where are you in regards to God’s plan and purpose for your life? Where are you in marriage: Are you enjoying or enduring? Where are you in career? Where are you in finance? Where are you in impact and influence? Where are you in commitment? Where are you in business? Where are you in ministry? Where are you in your relationship with the Lord? Where are you in terms of your family life? Where are you as touching the dispensing of your gifts, talents and productivity? Etc.

When God created man, he placed him in Eden. Like Myles Munro will say:

“The word “Eden” means spot… It means delightful spot… It depicts open door… It’s a spot on earth for the moment where God has open door from heaven on earth. That’s where God put the man “In His presence”. That’s why we can’t find Eden today. Eden is not a place, Eden is an environment. Eden is an atmosphere; it is the presence of God”.

Beloved, there is a place God has placed you when you became born again. There is a spot God has placed you when you make up your mind to give Jesus your heart. He has placed you in his presence. Have you left God’s presence? Why are you looking for help in Egypt? Do you have a secret place where you meet with the Lord for fellowship? Where art thou? In his presence or outside? It’ s in his presence there is power, love, joy, rest, peace, forgiveness  and deliverance. In fact, his divine presence brings prosperity. Little wonder the Bible says because the Lord was with Joseph, he prospered him everywhere he went – whether prison or palace. The more you stay in his presence- the more it robs on you and everything concerning you. What is it that you are looking for? It is available in his presence. Seek his presence today.

Reflection: God’s presence is heaven to the Believer, the more you dwell therein, the better you become and prosper.

Prayer Lines: Father, take me to the place where you are and let me find joy dwelling in your presence.
