Commit to Memory: “Uprightness and right standing with God (moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation) elevate a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34 AMPC)

Many at times we lose battles because of the legal ground of sin satan sees as an avenue to attack us, it was for this reason satan stood to resist Joshua the high priest even before the presence of the Lord. Why? Because he was putting on a filthy garment. Why? Because sin was spoting him for an attack by satan. Sin wanted to dethrone him from elevated office of the High priest, Thank God for his Mercy that prevailed over the judgment of satan concerning Joshua (Zech. 3:1-4).

Your righteousness should not just be before men but importantly it must be before God. Look at what God said concerning David. He said he has found David to be a man after his heart, he has found him faithful and righteous. Can God say this concerning you and I? See this testimony in Psalm 78:70, 72 AMPC

“He chose David His servant and took him from the sheepfolds; so [David] was their shepherd with an upright heart; he guided them by the discernment and skilfulness [which controlled] his hands.”

Friends, can God find you righteous? Can he attest of your righteous acts, works and lifestyle especially in the secret? Where and when no one is there and watching- will you still choose to obey God against popular opinion? Do you desire promotion and uplifting? Then make up your mind to pursue righteousness for righteousness exalts, look at Joseph; it was righteousness that exalted him to the position of prime minister. For a user of this inspiration, as you make up your mind to cleave to righteousness, I pray in the order of Joseph and David, may the Lord lift you to enviable heights beyond your exposure and imagination in Jesus name.
