Commit to Memory: “Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long. Your commands are always with me and make me wiser than my enemies. I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes. I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey your precepts.” (Psalms‬ ‭119:97-100‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Today’s commit to memory is the testimony of David. You cannot be swayed to and fro or manipulated by the enemy if the manual of life patterns your life. So we see that one way we silent and become wiser than the enemy’s to study and obey God’s word. Little wonder Proverbs 16:7 says

“If a man’s way pleases the Lord, he makes his enemies to be at peace with him.”

Beloved, do you desire peace and rest on all sides? Do you want to please God? How can you please God when you don’t know what his word says as written in the manufacturer’s manual? In fact, if you do not find joy reading your Bible, you cannot please God. Why? Because you don’t know what his words says. So for David, his Christian experience reflected that by his consistency ofstaying put in the word and keeping the commands of God he has become wiser than his enemies. So you don’t have to fight the enemy simply study and obey the word and God will take care of every enemy of your joy.

Friends, meditation on the word is an advantage to the believer. Why? Constant study plants and aligns you in destiny. Start declaring the word today and watch your life fulfil destiny.  For a user of this devotional, any and every where your destiny have been truncated, as you make up your mind to begin to dig deep in the word and implement your meditation, may his word align you to destiny and may all the benefits of this investment and time alter your destiny in the right direction in godliness.
