Commit to Memory: “Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a Light unto my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
The Manufacturer’s manual is actually a lamp and light to the believer that is why you must give dedicate conscious effort and time to meditate on it so that you will prosper in all your way (Joshua 1:8). And then begin to declare the word in the life’s manual. Are you sick? Find his instructions as concerning your health and declare it and you will be whole. Are you in trouble and pain, there is a prescription you need to find in the manual and until you find and declare it, you never will find rest for your soul. Are you depressed? There is a message you need to find in the manual of life to come out of that peril. It is for this reason Jeremiah said in
“Thy words were found and I did eat them and thy words was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart.”
Think about this for a moment. This means until you find succour in the manual. I mean the word, the diligent search for joy in a world of sin continues. So it says thy Word is Lamp and Light. Lamp for guidance and Light for direction. So the more you feed on the word, the more you are guided to make decisions that will put your life in the right direction; I mean by constant meditation- the spirit of precision and wisdom will begin to work in and through key and diverse areas of your life and I tell you when you have this going for you- the sky is your starting point.
Friends, God’s Word is a Lamp; it’s a Light that shines in the darkness. It lights up the path before us. It guides our feet, showing us not only the right way to go – but also exposes the dangers, evil plots and traps and the potential stumbling blocks along the way. I pray for a user of this inspiration beginning from today may your life manifest the word.
Reflection: In every challenge lies a seed of its own solution, every trial – the seed for triumphs, every obstacle- the seed for miracles and every test- the seed for testimonies. The seed is the WORD, look therein.
Prayer Lines:
•Father, let your word be my joy that it may find expression in my life.
•Father, let your word be my guide and light.
