Commit to Memory: “And the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.” (Luke 4:17-19 NIV)

In the kingdom we ascend the upward way by revelation and by discovery of what has been written about you. What is written is what God has said about you. It is for this reason the Bible says in Psalms 49:12 that, a man in honour that knows not is like the beasts that perish. Paul said in Galathian 2:2 that:

“I went up by revelation…”

According to today’s commit to memory, Jesus had to search and find out that which was written concerning him as spoken by the prophet Isaiah (Luke 4:17-21). Jesus found the place of the exploits that was tied to his destiny and for this reason He will go all the way to manifest and give meaning to the lives of all he encountered and for the utmost assignment of redemption. He couldn’t have done much if he didn’t know much. Little wonder Jesus said to the people immediately he read what was written concerning Him in Luke 4:21 that

…“Today is this scripture fulfilled in your hearing.”

 Beloved, one of the names of God is FAITHFUL. He is too faithful to fail and disappoint or compromise any and every of his promises as captured in the pages of the written word. So He daily wants us to seek him till the written word becomes spirit and life in and through us. When you find what is written of you from that moment, you will begin to fulfil destiny. I pray for a regular user of this inspiration, may you fulfil that which the Almighty have written concerning you as you engage on a diligent search in the word in Jesus name.

Reflection: Satan is silenced whenever he sees and knows that the written word is fire in your bones.
