Words of Affirmation- Part 2

Commit to Memory: “…You shall have whatsoever you say.” (Mark 11:23)

The raw materials given unto men in the edification of lives are WORDS. A little girl said he wanted the head of John the Baptist and she had her desire delivered to her (Mark 6:21-28). Elisha cursed those forty two children with words borne of wrath and immediately all forty two children were devoured by two wild beasts (2 kings 2:24). Elijah shut up the heavens for three and a half years with his words, Jesus called forth Lazarus from the land of the dead by his words (John 11:43). Words are powerful, they can make or mar destinies, so I ask you this morning; are your words to bless or curse? Are your words to edify the body of Christ or destroy? Do your words build families and marriages or destroy them? What kind of words are you saying today? See what Jesus said in Matthew 7:7

“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Beloved, what are you saying? Do you know for instance if you can call forth that desire, it will become your reality. It is for this reason Jesus said in today’s commit to memory that you shall have whatsoever you say. I ask you a question again this morning what are you saying? What are you saying about your spouse, marriage, business, children, finances etc Begin to speak words of power, words of peace, words of joy, words of comfort and words that are in agreement with the word of God and watch your life move from glory to glory in the right direction.

Reflection: You are not what happened to you, you are what you choose to become by your confession.
