Failing to Plan

Commit to Memory: “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?” (Luke 14:28).

The concept of planning is very key to triumph in every aspect of life. Scriptures puts it this way as reflected in today’s commit to memory that anyone who must build a tower or house must first of all sit down and count the cost. In other words take out time to plan the starting to the finishing. Why? So that he will not start and not 10be able to finish that which he has started.

Beloved what are the areas of your life that lacks planning? Is it your family life, business, career, marriage etc. If you fail to plan, then don’t expect results for it is your expectation that determines your experience. It is for this reason the Almighty God said as you have spoken into my ears so will I do unto you. What God is trying to say is that if you do not ask don’t expect a magic and supply of your desires, nothing more, nothing less. See what Proverbs 16:3 says as regards planning:

“Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

Start making conscious efforts to make plans today so that failure will fade away by default in your life. Make short term plans, long term plans, monthly plans, quarterly plans, yearly plans etc and watch the Creator of the universe attract everything and everyone to work for your Favour. Give it a try today.

Reflection: When you give priority to planning in all that you do, most assuredly success will surround all that you do…

Prayer Lines: Father, in the name of Jesus I receive grace to make plans that are in line with your will and purpose.
