Commit to Memory: “They made me the keeper of the vineyards; but my own vineyard have I not kept.” (Songs of Solomon 1:6)

If there is something the devil derives pleasure in doing- It is to cause division in homes and among couples. He started this far back in the garden of Eden and has ever since improved on his strategies in bringing woes and sorrow to the homes he is able to penetrate and manipulate.

Whenever, you are careless to stay on guard, satan uses the home as a thriving medium and environment to perpetuate his enterprise and three fold mission. So when he is able to gain access by causing division in the home, he will strategize to kill your dream, if he cannot then he will steal your joy and then if he fails in this wise- he will destroy your foundation and life (John 10:10). It is for this reason you must close all doors, avenues and legal grounds satan wants or is using against you. How? Give attention to your own vineyard, family and home. Give attention to the areas that is failing in your relationship, marriage and home. Don’t be busy but guilty, turn the weaknesses to strength and invite Jesus to step into your home today.   

Stop laboring and trying to please and keep the vineyards of others while leaving your vineyard unkept and abandoned (SOS 1:6). In as much you will want to do good, be wise such that it will not be at the expense of your home else you will become a laughing stock and bring mockery to the name of Christ. In other words, give attention to fix the faults in your home and thereafter you can extend the love to another. For a regular user of this inspiration, may the Lord give you the wisdom to rule and reign in peace over your home in Jesus name.

Reflection: If God is to be proud of homes. Will He find yours?
