Commit to Memory: “I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.” (Isaiah 48:3 KJV)
Beloved, it’s in the nature of man to forget. Somebody said out of sight is out of mind, but you know what the Almighty God is not like that. He is the one and only Omnipresent God, everywhere at a time so He never forgets, never wearied, never exhausted like man. He never sleeps, never slumbers and never tired of hearing our prayers, even when we are weak, he strengthens and makes a way for His very own. Infact, He knows us by name, He knows and sees our secret fears, tears and our every thought and even knows the number of our hair strands. So for this reason, He can and sustains the ability to appear for your joy and defend His very interest in the lives of as many that put their trust and hope in Him. It’s for this reason He is our Rescue and the Refuge from the storm. That’s why no problem can defer solution before the God of the Suddenly. His capacity to know and remember is beyond human comprehension. See what Isaiah 40:28 says
“Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.”
Psalm 139:1-6 portrays that he knows our every thoughts from start to finish. In Isaiah 43:45, He said concerning Israel “Your sins I will remember no more”. So we see that He alone can decide to remember a man for good or take his attention from aiding a man. He is the Sovereign God as we see in Rom.9:15., He can decide to be merciful or show compassion on whom He decides to lift. I pray may he arise suddenly for your good and on your behalf today.
Reflection: The Creator of times and seasons is never threatened by the magnitude of any situation because He will appear as the Fourth man as the last resort of the Believer.
