Commit to Memory: “…follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance.” (Hebrews 6:12 NLT)

In the school of greatness, you must be tested and proven for God to trust you with good success. It is for this reason God said to Abraham: “Now of a surety I know that you love me”, God didn’t say this not until Abraham placed his one and only son whom he loved on the altar of sacrifice. You want an enviable success in the order of Isaac that only God can give? Then you must be tried and tested. Psalm 66:10-12 NIV says

“For you, God, tested us; you refined us like silver. You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs. You let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.”

Beloved, can you see the order: you must go through the fire and water just like gold must pass through fire and the Deer after the water brooks for God to bring you to a wealthy place. Why? Behind every sweet story you hear or see, there is a messy story behind the scene most of us don’t want to hear, see or partake of. It is for this reason the way to the throne is the cross. If you are not willing to carry, I mean bear your cross daily then forget about the crown on the throne. It is a process designed by God. So stop admiring and confessing things you desire when you negate the law and principle of process because they will never come or manifest in your life.

Friends, there is no hero without a story who once had zero moments and downtime experiences. God wants us to follow the path of the patriarchs of old who through their faith and obedience inherited the promise. The Bible says Jesus learnt obedience through the things he suffered. Though Grace was released for endurance, nevertheless he (Jesus) still had to pass through it. It made him fortified and today he has given us all victory simply because he paid the price in full. Hallelujah.
