Delays are not Denials

Commit to Memory: “Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.” (Psalm 27:14 AMPC)

One of the tragedies that can befall a man is to wait for their change until they die while waiting. It is such a painful experience. It is for this reason David said in Psalms 40:1-3 NLT

“I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.”

To be delayed means to be stagnated, stranded, revolve around a spot with no significant progress, to exhibit snail speed, lingering inactivity, to be hindered from forward and upward movement, to be hindered from making progress for a long time, to retard the motion or time of arriving a destination or get to a destination lately. In the name of Jesus, may the power of God catapult you from every delay to accelerated progress today.

The Bible says from the time of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent taketh it by force. Beloved, you will not get very far if you don’t use force. You need to pray aggressively in the order of Jabez to come out from delays. Silence the many adversaries causing your delays (1 Corinth.16:9) and I tell you one truth you will not be denied and your latter shall be better and greater than your past. Hallelujah.

Reflection: Delay is not denial so be patient in waiting.
