Commit to Memory: “The Egyptians will lose heart, and I will confuse their plans. They will plead with their idols for wisdom and call on spirits, mediums, and those who consult the spirits of the dead.” (Isaiah 19:3 NLT)
Egypt is the spirit of bondage, monitored affliction, slavery, worldliness and frustration. The spirit of Egypt is hell, the works of darkness, illegal take over and the spirit of Pharaoh which says I will not let you go because you are my slave. The spirit of Egypt is a terrible and unclean spirit. It’s the spirit of idolatry, confusion, lust and a passionate affinity for mundane things. When the spirit of Egypt is at work in the life of a man, such a life will be devoid of direction, speed, progress and breakthroughs.
To overcome the spirit of Egypt. You must make up your mind to come out of Egypt. Israel had to leave Egypt by the finger of God. Why? God has not called you to survive but to thrive so thrive in prayer on your exodus out of Egypt with the help of God. It is for this reason the word of God says in 2 Corinthians 6:17 AMPC
“So, come out from among [unbelievers], and separate (sever) yourselves from them, says the Lord, and touch not [any] unclean thing; then I will receive you kindly and treat you with favour. [Isa. 52:11.]”
Friends, to put an end to the activities and works of the spirit of Egypt manifesting in your life- you must be intentional to come out of Egypt. Stop toiling with sin, never again give yourself to the dictates of the flesh, make up your mind to silence in prayer every spirit of Egypt wrecking your life, business, family, ministry, carrier and freedom. I pray for a user of this inspiration, may the Lord cause your life to go very far beyond human comprehension.
Reflection: Don’t be comfortable in any place for it’s a limitation to your next level.
