Commit to Memory: “…Many will rejoice because of his birth…” (Luke 1:14. NIV)

An Influencer is simply one who adds value to the life of others. This influence must be positive and continuous. He is a voice whenever and wherever he or she appears. Conversely, a Reducer is one who never adds value to the life of others but rather diminish his life and that of others. A reducer is in a relationship for only what he or she can get therein and a parasite in his or her relationship(s). He or she is an echo. For example Jesus speaking of the servant that maximized five talents to generate an additional five was full of praise for him and rewarded him but the one with one talent who was unprofitable and buried it was punished and tagged by Jesus as a wicked servant.

Listen, anytime you scheme your way to manipulate people and you claim you are just been diplomatic- what you are actually doing is that you are a Reducer. Stop that kind of life and be an Influencer today. You will wonder why Jesus will call the servant who buried his one talent wicked and unprofitable. It is because anytime you don’t give out value or add value to any and everyone heaven privilege you to meet, you become a waste and unuseful to God.

Our commit to memory today says many lives will be gladdened and rejoice just because of the birth of one man– John the Baptist. He really was an influencer in his days. Is your life influencing or bringing pain to those around you? What can you give? Everyone has something to give, what kind of value can you give? Is it spiritual, financial, educational, material, physical, social, secular etc. Just give out value wherever and whoever you are and watch rewards of all kinds flow into your life easily and effortlessly. Are you an Influencer or a Reducer?

Reflection: Any and every time you give out positive value, rewards of all kinds follow by default.
