Maximize Opportunities

Commit to Memory: “Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity.” (Colossians 4:5 NLT)

Life is such that there are many people on the queue so that any opportunity one misses, the next on the queue gets and maximize it. So there arises the big question? Are you ready and prepared for the time and season of that opportunity that could transform your life beyond your wildest dreams? Until you are prepared, you will continue to miss opportunities repeatedly.

An opportunity is simply a favorable time of condition or an occasion or event that happens with time. Opportunities are usually orchestrated either by God, satan or man. They are designed to bring out the best in us as believers. It is for this reason the word of God says count it all joy when you go through diverse temptations… The New Living Translation puts James 1:2-4 this way:

“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.”

Maximizing opportunities is making best of any situation as it presents itself. It’s getting the best out of every circumstance that comes your way, be it good, bad or ugly. Missing opportunities repeatedly is a litmus test of a wasted life. How prepared are you for opportunities? Could it be that your next opportunity is designed to change your life but still you are unprepared for such next level.

Reflection: When opportunity meets preparation, success is birthed. How prepared are you today?
