Commit to Memory: “Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.” (Luke 5:4, 6 KJV)

It is pathetic, time sipping and energy consuming when you keep labouring with little or no result to show for your efforts. It is for this reason David said in Psalms 34:5 NLT:

“Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.”

The King James Version puts it this way: “They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.” So why did Peter toil all night and caught nothing? Peter caught nothing because all the fishes were scattered far from his reach in far places but as soon as he saw and heard a word from Jesus, as soon as he saw the glory of God, the same fishes that were scattered abroad all of a sudden gathered close to his boat such that in one effort two boats were filled and sinking by one effort sponsored by a word from Jesus in what I call a boat sinking and net breaking multitude of fish. I pray as you set your gaze on Jesus, may every blessing that men crave for begin to pursue you and be your servant.

Have you not wondered how come that someone that does not have the depth or whatever glorious thing you claim you have in God yet is producing fruits on every side but you are just struggling? One reason for this is hearing a word from Jesus. For a user of this inspiration, in every of your little efforts may it generate great results by a word from heaven.

Reflection: One word from Jesus can gather every scattered blessing and transform your life. This is because God does not speak like men.
