Commit to Memory: “O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.” (Psalms 90:14 KJV).

Mercy is the uncompromising voice that sets a man on the pedestal of greatness. When every human effort have failed, mercy speaks. Beloved, until mercy comes the struggle continues. Mercy speaks for the unqualified and for the one that seems far from help. A lot of Christians are wondering why things are not working according to their expectations inspite of their earnest efforts. It is for this reason the psalmist prayed a prayer in Psalm 6:2. He said:

“Have mercy upon me O Lord for I am weak.”

But then, why do we need the mercy of God? Mercy will turn your prayers to testimonies that means your prayers shall not be that of request alone again, it shall be of thanksgiving, it will terminate prolonged delay in your life and the disappointments of men, it will remove barriers of any kind out of your way, it will put an end to praying without answers in your life, it will remove sweat, struggles and hard bondage from your life. It will cover your errors and colour your efforts. When God shows you mercy, it will make you to be celebrated where you have failed before and make the helpers of your destiny to remember you.

Some things just will never yield results until God shows up in His mercy. When every other prayer has failed, the prayer of mercy can never fail, most assuredly it will speak. For a user of this inspiration, may God cause everything to be possible for you at all levels of your life by His mercy today.

Reflection: When your eyes are fixed on God as the last and only resort, most assuredly he will show you mercy and pardon.
