Commit to Memory: “I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24 NLT)
This is one of the most amazing truths as voiced by the very mouth of Jesus as documented for the new covenant Believer. Jesus is saying that as far as you can get to the secret place and make pronouncements as touching your desires, as far as He remains your mediator by being born again: then you will have whatsoever you asked God in prayer. What a privilege we enjoy unlike the old covenant children of God, but its appalling many believers don’t pray and engage this recipe and take advantage of it.
What this means is that if you don’t have a track record in the prayer closet then there is no supply of your desires. Why? It is in the place of prayer you bring before God your strong reasons, your needs, ills, perils, plans and desires. Why? Your sun arises when the prayer goes up especially when you arise above sleep. This is because real victories in prayer and power are gotten when men sleep. Why? Fire for revival, purification and judgement is built when prayer is ignited. Friends, there are attacks only prayers can arrest. See what the Almighty God said in Numbers 14:28 NLT in this wise:
“…As surely as I live, declares the Lord, I will do to you the very things I heard you say.”
Beloved, you are in a season of your life; never allow your prayer life to go down. You need to ask the Lord to take away slumber away from your life for prayer gives you all round stamina to go through the challenging and difficult times and orchestrate your victories on all fronts. For a user of this inspiration, may the Lord cause you to find joy in prayer as He draws you to the secret place, wake up your prayer life in victory as testimonies untold follows.
Reflection: If you do not seek God in the secret place- there is no victory anywhere and your life in the open will be out of order and powerless.
