Commit to Memory: “Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.” (1 Peter 2:17 KJV)
The Key of Honour is the key to greater heights and higher grounds in the Kingdom of men. It is for this reason today’s commit to memory says “Honour all men“ Why? You never can tell and know the vessel or personality that the Lord will use to uplift you. Honour is a culture that announces and sustains you for favours and all kinds of pleasantness. See how the Amplified Bible classic edition puts 1 Peter 2:17. It says:
“Show respect for all men [treat them honorably]. Love the brotherhood (the Christian fraternity of which Christ is the Head). Reverence God. Honor the emperor.”
Beloved, could it be that the reason you have not risen above your present level and devoid of help and helpers is lack of honour, could it be that the reason for your walking in circles all these years with no significant result to show for your labour is because of your abuse to honour in the lives of those God has placed before and around you notwithstanding you are senior to them.
Friends, a litmus test that you understand honour and are a personality of honour is your ability to honour and show respect to those you are senior or older than in all ramifications and who are your subordinates. You are not to show honour to only those who are ahead of you in career, finance, age, knowledge etc that’s your seniors, Boss or employer. Start showing and showering honour on those that answer to you and not only those that you submit to.
God wants us to honour all men: honour your parents, spouse, children, siblings, clergies (stop running your mouth to bring down people you never appointed), honour the widows and everyone you come across. Thereare many people, whose families are dying of the same thing they’re meant to release others from, just because in that home there is no honour. Does this lot define you? Repent and start honouring everyone around you and as many you come in contact with.
Reflection: Whatever and whoever you criticize, cannot be attracted to you. Anyone and anything you dishonour- you never enjoy as it will diminish before you but what you honour- you enjoy and will be magnified.

•Father, I am ready for my next level, give me the spirit and grace to honour all men.
