Offer Praise- 3

Commit to Memory: “And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir who had come against Judah, and they were [self-] slaughtered.” (2 Chronicles 20:22 AMPC)

Praise is a powerful tool in the hand of a Believer. For this cause God will pardon David and grant his seed access to sit on the throne forever unlike others who faced instant judgement when they erred. David understood that beyond praise as a commandment as far he was concerned and after all he had been through- his recipie to the throne was praise.

Are you wondering while you sense satanic presence and occultic meetings going on in your home day in day out? It is because the weapon of praise is yet to ascend to the heavenlies. It was for this reason immediately David began to play the harp that the evil spirits left Saul. Why? The lyre was a key symbol of Divine connection and communication with God (1 Sam 16:14-23).

The power of praise that work wonders in the life of a believer cannot be overemphasised. Praise manifests God’s presence and repels the presence of the enemy (Psalm 22:3), It brings down the glory of God (2 Chron.15:13-14), opens the prison gates and closed doors (Acts 16:26) and shatters the enemy.

As reflected in today’s commit to memory, when the children of Judah found themselves outnumbered by the hostile armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, king Jehoshaphat and all the people sought God for help, so what did the children of Judah do? Being a people of praise (Judah actually means praise), they engaged in praise and the Lord gave them victory without a fight.

Reflection: When you learn to praise the Lord at all times, your battles becomes the Lord’s and for this reason God will set an ambushment against the enemy of your joy.
