Commit to Memory: “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” (Genesis 8:22 KJV)
According to today’s commit to memory, we see that God does not give bread or seed. You determine what God gives. How? If you see it as bread, what do you do to bread? You eat it. And then if you see it as seed. What do you do to seed? You sow it. So we see that God gives something, but you are the one that determines what God gives based on the perspective of your sight either as a seed or bread.
Again you can give a sacrificial seed to God’s envoys and servant. Jesus attesting to this said if you give to a Prophet, you’ll receive a Prophet’s reward. For this sole reason, Lot was spared (Gen. 19:1-3). By giving to messengers of and from God, you can unlock your heaven of breakthroughs as we see in Matt 10:41.
“He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.”
You will never understand sacrifice if you are always giving from a position and perspective of the law or command. Friends, do you know that you cannot really say you love someone if you cannot give to such an individual but you can give without loving someone; for this reason the Bible says for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son (John 3:16).
Kingdom giving is not just about donations but having a lifestyle of love to lift others and support the course of the Kingdom we have been called into and do preach. For a user of this inspiration, your heart desire has been that the Lord will bless you abundantly such that His kingdom work will not suffer lack in your time, as the Lord lives that desire shall become a testimony in Jesus name.
Reflection: Giving is not just about fulfilling all righteousness but making a difference.
