Kingdom Giving

Commit to Memory: “…No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed.” (Deuteronomy 16:16 NIV)

In the kingdom, God honours your giving only when it is done from a heart of willingness borne out of sacrifice and then it should reflect the proportion of His Blessings in our lives. So whenever you want to give to God or His work, you must first see it as a privilege, do it heartily, willingly and then sacrificially. Stop giving out of fear, favour, treats, been cajoled, manipulation, compulsion and from a stand point of the law notwithstanding it is written but rather Give from a position of Love. Halelluyah.

See what he said having commanded all Israel that they must not appear before Him empty; He said in the preceding verse in Deut. 16:17 that:

“Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee.”

So you see that any service you render to God that is not done with love borne out of sacrifice becomes unacceptable to God and His Kingdom, no matter how big or small the gift or service you render may be.  Why? Any service you render to God that is not borne out of sacrifice is an artificial service and would most assuredly go unrewarded and be consumed by fire. There are several things that God desires we give to Him. It’s not all about gifts or money.  It ranges from your talent, ambition, time, I mean a tithe of your time daily to God (2 hours 40mins) minimally; the payment of your tithes, not necessarily out of compulsion, law or commandment; but let it be from a perspective of your love for God- this again is very important. May the Lord enlighten us deeper on the irresistible need for love in Kingdom giving

Reflection: Give to God from a position of love rather than a perspective of the law. Start this practice today.
