Foundational Deliverance

Commit to Memory: “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalms 11:3 KJV)

The problem of every man stems from their foundations. If you must make a headway and meaningful progress in life, you must address it squarely in prayers; so that you can get out of the stigma and evil family trend or pattern of your father’s house. So if the foundation of the righteous be destroyed, one thing the righteous can do is to sort and settle it in prayers in the order of Jabez (1 Chron.4:10).

The height of a building is determined by the depth of its foundation. Where you get to in life depends on the kind of foundation you have. Many of us have foundations that will limit and hinder our physical and spiritual progress. Such foundations are the result of evil dedications and inheritances which have now become the bondage that is limiting our success in life and has ultimately become our present day ugly reality.

In architecture or structural engineering, the foundation is the most important part of a building. This is the part on which the whole building rest. It has to be solid. If it is cracked, or shaken, then the life of its inhabitants is at risk and will therefore require demolishment and not patching or repair. I remember a true life story of a mega church in a major city in West Africa that had a mighty edifice for worship but with a faulty foundation that soon began to show cracks on the walls of the building. Notwithstanding the worth in millions spent  on that project; the building was demolished, simply because they built the edifice on a faulty foundation. I pray that the Almighty God will uproot whatever it is that He has not planted in your life that has destroyed your foundation.

Reflection: The enemy of man’s soul knows how to convert footholds into strongholds. Are you Righteous? Then pray.
