Commit to Memory: “…My cup overflows with blessings” (Psalm 23:5 NLT).
Beloved, your prosperity and total well being in life and destiny is not in any local or hard currency but lies in the currency of Grace. To live the life of the Overflow is for your cup to run over. This happens when the Almighty God causes your heart to be established in the grace of God. Paul speaking of a life characterized by the Overflow said in Heb. 13:9 (NIV)
“Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for your hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by eating ceremonial food which is of no benefit to those who do so.”
The King James Version puts it this way “…it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace.” So a life of the Overflow is a life strengthened by grace, a life assisted continually by the invisible hand of God, a life of divine health, a life that overflows in favour and blessings; a life of strange supernatural results with untraceable human efforts. And these and many more is permitted to flood your life when the Lord is your shepherd. So friends I ask you a question today, who is your shepherd? Is it the Lord? When the Lord is your shepherd, labour is irrelevant, efforts is insignificant, you begin to soar on the wings of the Eagle with two wings, the wings of mercy and grace. Little wonder the Bible says of the Children of Israel in Ps. 44:3
“For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them; but thy right hand and thine Arm and the light of thy countenance because thou hadst a favour unto them.”
My cup overflows in some translation reads my cup runs over, it means “I have more than enough for every need and any need that may arise in my life.”
This means that when the Lord decides on your overflow, your struggle ends permanently in your life, and where ends struggles, favour takes over. I pray for a user of this inspiration, every struggle, negative label, delay, ill health, reproach and setbacks is terminated for a new beginning of a life of the Overflow in Jesus name.
Reflection: When your cup overflows with His blessings, you become too blessed to be stressed.
