Commit to Memory: “Jesus soon saw a huge crowd of people coming to look for him. Turning to Philip, he asked, “Where can we buy bread to feed all these people?” He was testing Philip, for he already knew what he was going to do.” (John 6:5-6 NLT)
Beloved, you need to know better. Why? There are some associations you will leave because you know better, there are some businesses you will do and companies you will keep because you know better, there are some meetings you will be silent because you know better; there are some dialogues you’ll contribute because you know better, there are some arguments you won’t indulge because you know better. Why? Knowledge! Especially adequate, relevant, updated and absolute (Divine) knowledge is Power.
If you know better, you will go farther, see better, think better, listen more and talk less, become wiser, become stronger, become influential, become wealthier, lead others etc. Deuteronomy 29:29 says:
“The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.”
The Commit to memory says Jesus knew what to do in every situation because he had superior knowledge of things created and the creator himself. He just knew what to do at every moment (M) and time (T), whatever came His way. Little wonder when the Pharisees brought the woman caught in the very act of adultery to Jesus, because He knew better; He gave a judgement that silenced the critics and portrayed love.
Set up a challenge to know better the things you do or are assigned to do today, make up your mind to know God better than ever before- give it time and commitment and the result will blow your mind. Jesus knew what to do, Do you know what to do? If not seek knowledge today.
Reflection: If you know better, you will not be a noise maker. So seek adequate, relevant and updated knowledge today!
Prayer lines: Father, you’re the All knowing God! Make me know better that I may act better in all situations.
